Michael hails from the SF Bay Area where he trained with Anna Deveare Smith at the prestigious ACT. His early acting experience lead him to his calling behind the camera as a Producer. Moving to Los Angeles in 1991, he got his start as a PA on the hit television series "Unsolved Mysteries", starring Robert Stack. He worked his way up through the ranks from Location Manager, 2nd AD, Production Coordinator and finally Host Producer (Telecenter).
Michael is no stranger to production. With experience ranging from network to cable television, multi-camera and reality TV, music videos and industrials; his short FANTASY UNLIMITED won Best Picture in the Portland 48 Hour Film Festival. Working with local crews and municipalities on location throughout North America, Michael is best at playing the role of boots on the ground, shaking the hands and assembling the teams that make or break an Indie production. Whether he is UPM or Producer, Michael makes the friends and seals the deals that insure that both the creative and the business sides meet their goals.
In 2004 Michael created Silver Heart Productions to develop and produce feature films. The debut production, "Only for You" was selected for distribution and released in 2008. Other Silver Heart productions include the festival nominated shorts, "White Flag", "Echo" and the feature film, "Drama Queens" which was released in the summer of 2009.
